About Marta Layseca

EHD was founded by Marta Layseca who has
more than 20 years of experience in architecture. Marta graduated
from the College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape
Architecture at the University of Arizona with a Master in
Sustainable Architecture. She researched the impact of the use of
natural materials and energy strategies in Housing; and how design
principals of traditional architecture can be merged with today's
technology. Marta has lived in several US states and other
countries incorporating a wide range of cultures, climates, and
architectural variety that broaden her experience. She sees the
role of the architect as a facilitator of the green process with
personalized attention to each client.
